Friday, Dec. 5, 2025, There is a MANDATORY TN promise meeting with ALL seniors at 9 a.m. in the auditorium. Tennessee Promise is important for all seniors because it provides a pathway to a tuition-free community or technical college education by covering remaining tuition and mandatory fees after other financial aid is applied. Students must complete at least 16 hours of community service to qualify for Tennessee Promise. Community service hours can count as far back as Aug.

On Nov. 14, juniors and seniors will have the opportunity to register for Walters State Community College Dual Enrollment courses for the spring semester. Registering early helps avoid scheduling conflicts and eases the transition to college-level work. On Tuesday, Oct. 28, West High held a wonderful Trunk or Treat event in the parking lot.
