Spanish II Heritage Contest

Mrs. Stafford's Spanish II students have been working on a unit exploring food as it connects to culture, traditions, and emotions. Recently, they completed a research project focused on fusion dishes as a blend of two distinct cultures.

Students researched two traditional dishes (one from a Hispanic country and one from a non-Hispanic country), wrote short essays in Spanish about each dish’s origins and cultural influences, and designed a poster advertising an original fusion dish inspired by both dishes.

Last Friday, students presented their projects, and the posters are now displayed in the hallway for voting. The three posters with the most votes are Yonatan Domingo Cobon, Analia Santiago Castillo, and Rocelyn Hernandez.
