The Morristown Landing is a large fitness complex on Merchant’s Green which will be opening on an undetermined day in early March. The Landing will feature an aquatic center including a competition size pool in addition to the standard gym amenities such as a free weights section and cardio equipment such as treadmills and stairmasters. There will also be a 26,400 square foot fieldhouse with four hardwood basketball courts that can be converted into volleyball or pickleball courts. Representatives of the landing have stated they plan on hosting nights and tournaments for these sports once the facility opens with the first tournament being a volleyball tournament the weekend of March 4th and 5th.
To access the facility, a membership is required. Those who live within the Morristown city limits (pictured below) can purchase an all access pass for $40 a month, while out of limits residents can purchase the same monthly membership for $50. There is a reduced plan, which is $20 on a monthly basis for those who are within the city limits and $30 a month for those who are not. An additional registration fee is required for all plans. The Landing will offer services such as personal training, swim lessons and group fitness classes. As of now, The Landing is still currently hiring for part time members on their culinary, operations and service teams.
