The West High Advanced Choir and Women’s Choir put on a pop concert on Nov. 4. The Advanced Choir performed “Hey Brother” and “Fix You.” Small groups performed “Night Changes”, “Someone to You”, “Rolling in the Deep”, “Hey There, Delilah”, “Burnin’ Up”, “Back to December”, “Turn up the Music”, “Someone you Loved”, “For the Longest Time”, “Lovely”, “Favorite Crime”, “Rocket Man”, and “Toxic”. The Women’s Choir performed “Talking to the Moon” and “Blackbird”.
The performances were lovely, showing great emotion and skill. Morristown West’s Singsations and SOS both performed as well. Several solos were performed by Deborah Castellanos, Lindsay Farmer, Will Hunley, and Lilli Roberts during “Fix You” by Coldplay. Faith Zuniga commented, “Director Kaitlyn Younger did an outstanding job conducting. Guitarists Jackson Collins and Allie Moore performed exceptionally.” Advanced Choir performer Catherine Lomot remarked, “I think we all did a remarkable job. I’m so proud of everyone who performed.”

The next concert will take place on Dec. 16 at 7 p.m. This will also take place in the West High auditorium. This continual support creates the learning and growth of these amazing performers!
