West High Beta Prepares for State Convention
Morristown-West Beta Club is busy preparing for the state convention! On Nov. 19, the Beta Club will leave for the Opryland Hotel in Nashville. There are many students competing across nearly 40 different competitions. These competitions range from academic tests and quiz bowl competitions to art exhibitions and speeches. Through these competitions, alongside the organization's emphasis on leadership, Beta Club allows students to grow and achieve. This year’s theme is “Legends in The Making.”. This theme is meant to inspire students to be leaders in and out of the classroom, and to also pursue their dreams. The convention will last for three days, and there will be multiple large sessions that will take place where all the Beta members gather to celebrate competitions, announce winners, and elect new state officers. Wish these students luck as they compete and prepare for the convention!
