Cinema, the every lasting thing that has held humans together for more than 100 years. The world has had a wild ride from the world of film; movies at first, not even being able to hold sound or color(most films being black and white during this time), to colorful, fast paced/fast moving films, to CGI and editing oriented films. Cinema has had a long road; of course, it could be done without some remakes and re-releases, and that is what will be discussed. What films will be re-released, when they will be out, and for how long?

“SPIRITED AWAY:” this classic representation of artwork and just how beautiful animation can be, as well as how beautiful a story can be when added to animation. This is for a limited time because of the film's 25th Anniversary, STUDIO GHIBLI will be re-releasing this masterpiece back in theaters on Oct. 17-21.

“BACK TO THE FUTURE:” a much older classic, this film represents the good times of the 80’s; back when any family could plop down, put this in their VCR/DVD player and rewatch this with joy similar to the first time they watched it. Because of this film, the attention of science-fiction films skyrocketed with this great success. This movie also unlocked a big genre and generational fascination as well, the “TIME TRAVEL genre.” as well as many spin-offs and reinterpretations of said genre. Because of all this, it is no wonder this film is coming back onto the big screen for another retelling. It is just that good. Now besides all this, the film will be re-released by Universal Pictures on Oct. 21. Don't miss it!

“ROCKY” is a much, much older classic. This film is not as popularly known now by the new generation as it is to all those whose parents showed them it .Regardless of how old this film is and how niche it may be to some, it is still a classic as this film teaches the morals of how to never give up in the face of adversity and to always reach for dreams no matter how far they may seem. This may be a moral everyone knows now. It is even ingrained in the entire series; however, the moral everyone is familiar with now is mostly/probably taken from this movie. In honor of the sensational spectacle of this movie, it will be re-released from Nov. 7-11. In honor of this movie’s 50th Anniversary, and the series and fans that followed.
