The expanded cafeteria is slowly coming together at West High School. The expansion will add an extra 5,000 square feet which will allow for an expanded serving line, more dining space, and additional space for special events. There is a hope to reduce the amount of lunch periods to allow for more instruction time and extra TNN time. Sophomore Miller Smith said that he is “...excited to have the cafeteria back.” but he worries about how long it may take before it is finished. This expansion is part of a multi-million dollar renovation which also involves improvements to the existing building which have been recently completed along with a new administrative wing.
