New West High School T-Shirts were distributed to faculty, staff, and students Sep. 30. These shirts were designed by student council using multiple designs that were submitted by students. According to Jennifer Cobb, Student Council Advisor, “This ongoing tradition has been a part of West High for nearly twenty years now, and our Student Council is so very thankful to the businesses that donate to help us promote school spirit at our school.” Some sponsors include BK Graphics, Citizens National Bank, Commercial Bank, H&R Block, Knoxville TVA Employees Credit Union, Manley Baptist Church, McKenna Orthodontics - Dr. Mark J. McKenna, Morristown Utilities/FiberNet, Morristown West Farm Bureau, Rusty Wallace Cadillac GMC Kia, The Terry Law Firm - Personal Injury Attorneys, Ultimate Shine Car Wash, BunsicLaw.com, First Horizon Advisors, R&M Painting-Remodeling-Framing-Drywall, Raimondi Caramel Apples, Rowena's on Main, Yandell Eyecare, and several other generous supporters of the Trojan Nation.
One special sponsor was added to the T-Shirt that said, “Friends & Family in Loving Memory of HJ Roberts.” This was added after friends and family of HJ Roberts, who passed away in June, raised over $200 to pay for the sponsorship.
