Morristown-Hamblen West Students Gain Professional Edge
Morristown-Hamblen West High School has a dedicated group of students working at the Student Help Desk. Students who enroll for the Help Desk class will receive hands-on training and learn better communication skills with clients in the IT department. Students also learn professional communication with one another creating a bond of teamwork allowing each student to learn better with each other's help. As each student continues working in the Help Desk, they resolve complex problems quickly through communication with students allowing them to figure out answers to their technical questions.
Students in the Help Desk will also be able to gain professional experience in fields on data privacy training as every student has access to important information in clients who they provide services to. Having a student trusted with confidential information proves they are a trustworthy role model when working in a professional workplace.
