Happy Sunday, Trojans! We have three more weeks of school left before we conclude the 2022-2023 school year! This year Graduation will take place May 25, 2023 and the last full day of school will be May 24, 2023. Graduation is May 25. May 26 will be Grade Card Day.
Congratulations to the new Student Council officers that will represent our student body at West next school year!

Elections for individual grade level officers will take place during TNN on Tuesday, May 9, 2023.

May 12, 2023, we will have a Career Fair in the Gymnasium during Second Period and TNN.
If you are interested in trying out for colorguard for next school year, please come to camp, beginning on May, 8, 2023, at 3:30 p.m. after school. Beginners are welcome. Please contact Dr. Clawson for more information.
Morristown-West Theatre class will be performing FootLoose:Youth Edition on May 19, 2023 and May 20, 2023. The performance will start at 7:30 p.m. on both days.
This year the Trojan Nation Senior Honors Banquet will take place May 16, 2023 at 6 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church Gymnasium for students graduating with any of the following: Honors and Distinction, Honors, Distinction, AP National, AP Distinction, AP Honors, AP Honors, AP Scholar, Who’s Who, Gold Star, Grit, Work Ethic Diploma, TN TriStar, TN Scholar, CNA Certification, National Merit, Perfect ACT Score.
All Seniors must turn in their Senior Walk permission forms to your TNN teacher by May 15, 2023 in order to participate in the Senior Walk to your previous schools; this will only cover West schools. We will also be having a Senior Signing Day that afternoon to celebrate all Seniors for graduating; food, drinks, games and more will take place! Remember to turn in your permission forms!
The pink form for scholarship awards day will be due by May 15, 2023. The event will take place in West High auditorium and parents will be invited to attend. Scholarship day will be May 23, 2023 at 1:30 p.m. during the school day.
For sports this upcoming week, Trojans Tennis will be participating in the District Tournament at Frank Lorino Park on Monday, May 8, 2023; this should last the whole day. On May 9 and May 10, the District Tournament will continue; both days will last until 4 p.m.. Softball will have its District Tournament May 8 through May 12. Track and Field will have a track meet in Knoxville, TN on Saturday, May 13, 2023. Goodluck to the Trojan Spring sports teams in continuing their District Tournaments. As the season ends, we would like to say thank you to all our coaches and athletes for working hard this season!
