Mo' West Girls Soccer Team Celebrates Dominant Season Opener Against Sullivan East

Last night, the Morristown West High School girls soccer team had an exciting start to their season with an impressive win against Sullivan East. They dominated Sullivan East with an impressive 7-0 score. Kaili Georges had 2 goals. Rylee Hurst, Dory Georges, Madi Dilbeck, Jaycee Williams, and Joslyn Treece had one goal apiece and assists were made by Karina Enriquez with 2 and Dory Georges, Madi Dilbeck, and Joslyn Treece with 1. Striker and right winger Madi Dilbeck said, “I personally thought the game was a good representation of our hard work and dedication as a team. We put in the work and hours and we let it all out on the field, but overall we played very well.” The team's goalie Katelyn Mefford stated, “I thought we played really well. We showed up and played good soccer. We played as a whole helping each other.” The Lady Trojans are back in action at home this Thursday at Burke Toney Stadium.
