Ignite Your Potential: The ETSU Roan Scholars Leadership Program

West High has many different scholarship opportunities. The Roan Scholars Leadership Program being one of them is East Tennessee State University's most prestigious, full-tuition scholarship. If you are applying to ETSU and desire to be a West High nominee for the Roan Scholars Program, you must submit a resume and a brief, one page essay addressing your educational goals and your desire to attend ETSU. Nominees should demonstrate character, intellectual curiosity, physical vigor and leadership. West High candidates will be identified based on resume/essay/transcript. Resumes/Essays are due to Mrs. Ezell by Wednesday, September 2nd. Students who are not selected as the West High candidates can apply online through the website. The portal will open August 15th for those who are applying separately. Two candidates will be selected and notified by September 5th. If you do not hear from Mrs. Ezell by September 5th, you are encouraged to apply individually online. The final application deadline for all applications (individual & West High representatives) is October 15th!
