Faculty Focus: Day in the life of Mrs. Smith, social studies teacher

Outside of school hours, teachers have lives. They must maintain their home and care for their family while keeping school on their minds. However, teachers must take care of themselves.

These are some fun facts about social studies teacher,  Mrs. Tammy Smith. First, she eats Cheez-its and drinks coffee for breakfast before showing up at 7:15 every morning. On the weekends, Smith loves to plant in her garden, go jeeping with her husband, and loves to see her kids and shop. She enjoys all kinds of food and will eat anything except pickled pigs feet. This social studies teacher drives a 2026 Suburban outback, but her favorite car is a Gray G wagon. Her favorite fast food place is Wendy’s because of their French fries and lemonade. Her professional goal is that she wants to add to her leadership skills. Students feel that Smith is an awesome teacher because she is always in a joyful mood and she  spreads her kindness to everyone even on the super gloomy days. Sophie Pressley says that "she loves the way Smith explains the lessons, and Pressley loves the way she dresses".
