West High CTE Classes Offer Industry Certifications

At Morristown Hamblen West and East high schools, there are multiple classes one can take that offer certifications in different subjects. Most CTE classes offer OSHA ten certifications. These classes include:

Students in Mrs. Short's machining class prepare for an industry certification to gain an edge in the workforce.

• The Advanced Computer Apps class with Amy Whaley: This class can earn students the Microsoft office certification in Word, Excel, and Powerpoint.

• The Nursing education class and Clinical internship class with Sherry Skeen: Nursing education will
