Trojans Succeed in Helping the Community for Thanksgiving Drive

The Morristown West Trojans successfully donated, sorted, and loaded over $4,000 worth of Thanksgiving food to help feed the community! Every year the school partners with Central Services in an effort to make people’s Thanksgiving a little better. Last year the school raised a little over 50 boxes, feeding 200 Hamblen County residents. However, this year the Trojans crushed it by raising 119 full boxes, feeding over 480 people. West High wants to give a special thanks to everyone who donated food, and congratulations to Mrs. Sherry Skeen’s classes for donating 25 full boxes and Mrs. Kim Cook’s classes for donating 10 full boxes winning the food fight.

Mrs. Sherry Skeen, Cassidy King, Jasmine Flores, Mia Dinkens, Tanaesha Thomas, Djamila Lawson, Lilly Snowden and Alexa Rossingnal deliver their 25 boxes of food.
