April Fools! While we’re kidding around today, the talent at West High this Wednesday was no joke—it was truly legendary! Our stage transformed into a cosmic showcase of superstars that left everyone speechless.
Lyric Holbert ignited the theater with "Burn" from Hamilton, and Josh Fosbenner strummed a stellar "Star Gazing" by Myles Smith. Jazlyn Moyers touched hearts singing Lauren Daigle’s "You Say," while Connor Shell paired with Mya-Lynn Cole to electrify the room dancing to Michael Jackson’s "Smooth Criminal." Logan Spurling brought Steven Universe vibes with "Here Comes a Thought," followed by Alexis Mosiej’s high-energy "Eye to Eye" from The Goofy Movie. Cody King shared "Super Power," a moving original dedicated to his late friend, and Khloe Williams delivered a haunting "Die on this Hill" by Sienna Spiro. DeWayne Wise channeled Frank Sinatra with "Rain in My Heart," Andrea Rico Serrano played a graceful "Waltz #2" on flute, and the duo Isabella Moser and Caroline Massa charmed us with Laufey’s "Lover Girl." Emma Miracle gave a chilling performance of Radiohead’s "Creep," and Caleb Greene offered a powerful "Traveling Soldier" honoring Vietnam veteran Carroll Gilbert.
Huge congratulations to the winners: first place Connor Shell and Mya-Lynn Cole, second Emma Miracle, and third Caleb Greene! No pranks here—they were incredible!
