Most people tend to have a certain type of car they particularly like. Many cars are different in many ways. 

According to mbaskool.com the Top 10 car manufacturers are:

1. Volkswagen

Volkswagen was created by the German Labor Front in Wolfsburg, Germany on the year 1937. The Volkswagen owned companies are Audi, Bentley, Bugatti, Lamborghini, Porsche, SEAT, and Škoda.

2. Toyota Motor Corporation

Toyota is the largest motor company in the world. The headquarters is in Aichi, Japan. Toyota was created by Kiichiro Toyoda on the year 1937.

3. Daimler AG

Daimler was established by Gottlieb Daimler in 1998 in Stuttgart, Germany. Daimler owns or has shares in Mercedes-Benz, Mercedes-AMG, Smart Automobile, Detroit Diesel, Freightliner, Western Star, Thomas Built Buses, Setra, Bharat Benz, Mitsubishi Fuso, and MV Agusta.

4. Ford Motors

Ford Motors was created by Henry Ford in Delaware on the year 1919. They also own the Companies Ford and Lincoln.

5. General Motors

General Motors was established in 1908 at its headquarters in Detroit, USA. General Motors own the following, Chevrolet, Buick, GMC, Cadillac, Holden, Baojun, Wuling, and Jiefang.

6. Honda

Honda is a Japanese car company with locations across the globe. The company began in 1948 at the headquarters in Tokyo, Japan. Honda is also the sixth largest company in the world.

7. SAIC

SAIC is the largest Chinese automaker enlisted in the Fortune 500 list. They have dominated the Chinese auto market since 2006.

8. Fiat Chrysler

Fiat Chrysler is a car company who is associated with Fiat, Chrysler, Jeep, Alfa Romeo, and Maserati

9. BMW

BMW is a German vehicle company that was established in 1916 in Munich, Germany.

10. Nissan

Nissan is a Japanese car company that was established in 1993 in Yokohama, Japan.
