On Nov. 14, juniors and seniors will have the opportunity to register for Walters State Community College Dual Enrollment courses for the spring semester. Registering early helps avoid scheduling conflicts and eases the transition to college-level work. Dual Enrollment classes are taught at West High by Walters State professors; students should watch their Google Classroom for a list of available courses. The Dual Enrollment Grant from the Tennessee Student Assistance Corporation may cover all or most tuition costs for up to five courses; school staff will assist students with the application process. Students must have at least a 3.0 3.0 grade‑point average or a composite ACT score of 21 21 to qualify for Dual Enrollment.
