Should School Schedule be Changed
Why should schools change their schedules? What part of the scheduling should they change? Well I think math should not be allowed in the mornings because students just woke up and do not have the mental capacity to do the math.
One reason that math should not start in the morning is because students have not fully woken up yet and are not ready to start the day. So if the math should not be in the morning, what should be replaced?. I think it should be replaced with a current event class where the student can get daily news and have a moment to think better.
A second reason can be sleep deprivation. This is a huge problem in the teenage world. Why are students having sleep deprivation? Some students scroll on their phones too long. This can make students feel groggy and unready to start the day.
One more reason can be that students are exhausted, and forcing students to have a mental toll on the students can be very frustrating for students. This can affect the student learning cable ability. This also can affect the students' behavior in a sense, if the student is having too complex algorithms can lead to burn out. One student says “It is very exhausting and very tiring to work on something like this.”
A West High math teacher comments, “I would argue that math and English should be in the morning when students are not as exhausted after a long day.” Another student says that “he really does not really care if subjects are in the morning or afternoon.
To conclude this article, should we move math? Well I think yes we should, but critics would rather disagree. This could be beneficial, but it can be harmful.
