Rocking Out with Rainmakers

It is time to rock and roll with the Rainmakers! For those who do not know, the Rainmakers are a Kansas City, Missouri-based band directed by Bob Walkenhorst. The band also had a short string of hits in the late 1980s and and early 1990s in the United States and Europe, even in Norway.

Rainmakers will be playing in concert on Friday, Sep. 3 at 7 p.m. hosted by Tennessee Jacks, located at 130 Terrace Lane. There will be no restrictions on age, and one must be vaccinated to enter. Bandleader Bob Walkenhorst said, “Call us names, boycott us, burn our records - we don’t care - we are sick of this. It is your turn to stay home. For those vaccinated and fighting the COVID battle, let’s do this!”. Rainmakers’ merchandise will not be sold and the band will not be coming back out after the show.
