Arnold Brings Experience to West High

Updated: Aug 27

Mr. Jeremy Arnold grew up here in Tennessee, graduating from Volunteer High School in Church Hill. Today, he teaches Special Education and English here at West. He’s been teaching since 2012 and worked at eight different schools. But, he says West is hands down his favorite.

Arnold wants to be a teacher to help shape his students, saying, “I like helping people become more independent in life by teaching them the skills they’ll need to make their dreams come true.  I also enjoy getting paid.”

Arnold is a family centered man, his life practically revolves around his daughter, Willow. On the weekends, if he’s not watching UT football, he’s with his daughter. One thing Arnold wanted to share with his students was to always be grateful, saying, “Be grateful for what you have.  This includes the people around you and the experiences you get to have, as well as your possessions.” We’re so excited to welcome Jeremy Arnold to our Trojan family and wish him a spectacular first year at West High School!
