Her second child is Meghan who graduated from East High and Tennessee Tech University. She is now a civil Engineer with KCI Technologies in Nashville. Her Grandchild Michaela is a freshman at West this year.

Sigler mentioned that she was interested in genealogy 25 years ago. She would spend her free time searching for ancestors, Sigler and her mom work together on expanding their family tree. They enjoyed visiting court houses, libraries, and cemeteries looking for lost relatives.

Sigler shares why she transferred high schools, “My granddaughter, Michaela, is the main reason that I made the change I want to be able to see her on a daily basis and watch her participate. I also admired the working relationship that the administrators have here at West and wanted to be part of a fantastic team.”

This will be Sigler’s 18th year as an administrator. She states “I feel that education is extremely valuable. It is the one thing in life that no one can take away from us to be successful adults. “

Sigler’s main goal in making West even better is by helping it become one of the best schools in the nation with the help of all the students, teachers, also the other principals. Lastly, Sigler will handle discipline issues and attendance.
