Marketing Class Gets Tasty

Morristown-West Introduction to Business and Marketing Classes were recently assigned a project. This project consisted of creating food truck businesses, and promoting and advertising for said businesses. Students at Morristown-West were given the opportunity to vote on which business they thought was the best and also had the chance to speak with a few of the “business” owners.

When interviewed, Aidan Hitesman, one of the owners for “MeatWagon” food truck shared, “We should win because we deliver a variety of exotic fish that nobody has ever seen or tasted before. We also give back fifty percent of our profit back to the local orphanage.” Another student interviewed, Peyton Couch, had a food truck business with Allie Mckenna and Luis Gonzalez. Their business being, “The Three Amigos,” and they shared, “We think we should win because our food is good quality food at an affordable price.”

The winning food truck business was “Tacos On-The-Go.” The “Business” owners were Joshua Fred-Roman, Iris Valesquez-Hernandez, Kendy Morales, and Corey Griffith. When interviewed, they shared, “We sell authentic Mexican tacos made just for you. We also have vegetarian-styled options as well. Our prices are budget-friendly. We offer discounts to veterans and if you are one of our first one hundred customers. We also offer you a free taco as well. We promote Mexican culture, which is our main goal.”
