The Morristown West High’s JV Boys faced off against Grainger Grizzlies Nov. 19 for a 69-40 win for the Trojans! The starters for the matchup were Brady Cornett, PJ Reyes, Macleod Love, Eli Steisslinger, and Elijah Davis. At the end of the first quarter, the Trojans were down by four with 14-18. At the half, the Trojans led by 4 with a score of 28-24. The Trojans lengthened their lead for the end of the third quarter with a lead of 17 with a score of 50-33. The four leading players were Macleod Love with 18 points, Brady Cornett 10 points, PJ Reyes 9 points, and Eli Steisslinger 8 points. The Grizzlies leading players were Landon Patterson with 14 points and Reece Jones with 13 points.
Assistant Coach Aaron Jones said, “We hope to finish in the top two in our district and make it to our region.” He is also excited to see their progress over the next few months with their three returning players. Jones expects, “Sevier County to be an elite team.”

The Morristown West High’s V Boys Face off against the Grizzlies was an astounding 73-53 win! The leaders for the game were Trent Lovelace with an amazing 40 points and Chase Smith with 13. The Leaders for the Grizzlies were Emmanuel Atkins with 10, Logan Foster 7, and Brody Grubb 9.
