Felipe’s Journey To The U.S

On Labor day weekend a new face was welcomed to West High and that is Felipe Bruschi! Bruschi comes all the way from Sao Paulo, Brazil. 

Bruschi comes from a small city called Bauru and was surprised by how many things were available so close and many things to do within Morristown. When Brushi saw all the wide varieties he was fascinated and fell in  love with all the different varieties. 

One thing Brushi cannot get here is home made brazilian rice and beans. Like everyone who leaves home,  Bruschi  is  very homesick. Bruschi misses his family and friends but is excited for this new chapter in his life. 

Bruschi came to America to improve his English and to make new friends and to further explore American culture. Although Bruschi has somewhat of a language barrier, he loves the atmosphere and all of the new people he has met.  Some Something very different from  Bruschi culture and America is Carnival!  Carnival is a very famous tradition in Brazil. It consists of music and lots of dancing.
