On August 28, Mrs. Cobb convened an Executive Council meeting at Morristown West High School, introducing a new initiative designed to enhance student engagement and representation. The Executive Council, a branch of the Student Council, aims to bridge the gap between elected officers and students from diverse social groups. By serving as intermediaries, Executive Council members provide a platform for students to share their perspectives on Student Council agenda items, fostering a more inclusive and connected school community.
A key component of this initiative is the introduction of the "MoWest Monthly" calendar. This calendar will serve as a comprehensive guide to school activities, allowing students to stay informed about upcoming events, meetings, and opportunities for involvement throughout the academic year. By centralizing this information, the MoWest Monthly calendar aims to increase student participation and awareness of school happenings.

In addition to the calendar, the Executive Council has launched the "MoWest Merchandise" shop, accessible through the school's website. This online store offers a variety of school-themed merchandise, including items designed by students and staff. Proceeds from sales support various clubs, teams, and classes, providing a means for students and parents to show their school pride while contributing to the school's programs. The shop features categories such as cheer, choir, and general school pride, with customizable options available to cater to individual preferences. MoWest StuCo.
Through these initiatives, Mrs. Cobb and the Executive Council aim to foster a more connected and engaged student body at Morristown West High School, encouraging greater participation in school activities and a stronger sense of community.
