Cross Country Team Shows Up , Shows Out In Knoxville

The cross country team traveled to Knoxville for the Victor Ashe Fall Classic on Aug. 30. Leading the boy's team and scoring points were: Will Roberts, Jonny Rivera, Eli Shoun, and Brady Ehret. For the girl's team, Kennedie Couch, Kyra Couch, Abbi Knight, Karen Gonzalez, and Jill Lynch scored.

Twelve runners ran for PRs: Abbi Knight, Karen Gonzales, London Dorton, Brady Ehret, Keaton Biery, Kenji Schuster, Will Roberts, Caleb Alexander, Charlie Kimbrough, Colton Purkey, Jaxon Craft, and Tucker Winstead.

The team raced All-Comers on Sept. 2. The girl's team finished in first place overall and the boy's team finished in second. 

The team will travel to Johnson City on Sept. 13 for the Iron Mountain Race.
