BY CHARLIE NEILL STAFF EDITOR
The Beta Club/ National Honors Society recently met in the library in order to start the beginning of the school year and to recount the agenda of last year. The secretaries from the four classes started off the meeting by taking roll of the members who attended the meeting. Then, Senior Secretary Macy Noe began to announce new events that were coming up on the agenda. New members of the Beta Club were then notified that they had to turn in 30 service hours by May 2020, while old members on probation had to turn in the service hours that they were missing previously.
Jayden Watson then added on with additional news of events that each Beta member can participate in. The beta club announced that they will be doing their annual Pop Tart table this year for the Homecoming Tailgate. Each Beta member was told to bring in Pop Tarts for the table to Mrs. Bowen or Mrs. Owen. The Beta Club is also preparing for a Beta convention that will happen Nov. 15. Each member was then told to come to the next meeting which will be held on Oct. 8 in the school library. The Beta meeting was then quickly adjourned and each member went on with their daily life.
