The 2020-21 sports season came to an end on Thursday, May 27 at the TSSAA D1 Large Schools Track and Field Meet. The West High Track Field State Qualifiers included Emma Gives in Shot Put and Kacey Webb in Discus. The 4x400 meter Relay Team also qualified for State. The Relay Team was Jaiden Carmichael, 1st Leg, Brett Lord, 2nd Leg, Chandler Roberts, 3rd Leg, and Ryan Ellison, 4th Leg. For Morristown West, Lady Trojans Emma Gives and Kacey Webb both finished off strong with their all-state performances. Gives placed third in shot put with a mark of 38-04. Webb also came in third in discus with a mark of 123-11. The Trojans 4x400 meter relay team also finished in 13th place overall.
West High congratulates the winners on their hard work and success during the competition.
