When asked to describe how she prepared for the test Kamryn Odom stated, “Due to the type of questions that were given, which were more skill type related questions referring to a patient and/or patients, studying was not the only beneficial thing that helped my placement on this test. It was from the fact that I was in the Nursing Education class here at West! It not only teaches you how to take care of a patient in Long Term Care, but characteristics of being a good nurse along with ideal nursing knowledge.”
When asked to explain how Job Seeking Skills would help outside of school Aashvi Patel stated, “Job Seeking Skills give HOSA members the opportunity to gain knowledge and skills required to apply for and obtain employment.”
Congratulations to all HOSA competitors from the West Side Story Staff.
