West High Offers Inaugural Movie Night

Last Monday West High’s student council held a free movie night for students and their families. Getting in to the movie was free. However, the concession stand was selling popcorn, cookie dough, candy, hot chocolate, hot apple cider, water, and sodas. Student council will use the proceeds from the concession stand and put them back into the school. Will Hunley, the student council president offered his thoughts on how it went. He remarked “The first West High Student Council movie night was extremely successful! This was the first movie night of many that we are currently planning. We were unsure of how many students would show up to this event, but we were all pleasantly surprised at the mass amount of Trojan Nation participation! Everyone seemed to love our showing of "Elf" and all of the holiday treats we had for sale in the concession stand. We cannot wait for our next movie night that the Trojan Nation should expect in January during Homecoming week!”
