West High juniors and seniors will have the opportunity to save a life by donating blood through Medic at school Thursday Aug. 17. This is a friendly competition to beat East High school by donating more pints of blood as a school than the cross town rival.

Students can donate from 8 a.m. - 3 p.m. while the public may donate from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. on the Medic bus parked in front of the school.


Students must weigh at least 125 lbs. and have a form signed by parents ahead of time to turn in the day of donation. Donors will also receive one free admission ticket to Array Variety Show.
