West High band competed at The Castle Oct. 5 and placed first for Class 3A. The Castle is located at Tennessee High’s Football Stadium. Hunter Kennedy, Trumpet Player, won best soloist of the day. The band won best music award. Garret Redmon, senior, stated, “Mr. Thomas said that this was probably our best performance this year.” Their halftime show consists of music by Queen, The Rolling Stones and The Beatles.
