West High anglers reel in some cash

The West High fishing team reeled in some cash from the Mountain Music Fishing Tournament. The West High anglers traveled to the mountain music fishing tournament, July 25, 2026 on Douglas Lake with over 200 other competing anglers from different schools. This is the 36th annual Mountain Music kids invitational bass tournament at Douglas, and lots of people donated money for the people who won money and for the organization members to buy prizes for the remaining participants. Gary Allen Underwood's team caught the limit of three fish and with those three fish, Underwood reeled in $140. Jeremiah Underwood and Gary Lee Underwood only got one fish but still got a prize like everyone did that night.
