Potato/Salad Bar Finally Return to Lunch Menu, Student/Teachers Equally Excited.

After a grueling seven day wait, the potato and salad bars are back on the West High Menu. Students awaiting their arrival were thrilled to hear the news. One student remarked: “I am ecstatic to hear that the salad bar is back. I really liked the variety of options it gave to us”.

It would also seem that TEACHERS are big fans of the customizable bars as well. Mr. Harp had this to share: “I’ve always been a big fan of the potatoes. I’m glad they’re back”. Another hungry student commented: “The potatoes are the best. I get one every day.”

The positive effects of the potatoes go BEYOND their flavor though. According to WebMD, a baked potato contains 100% of the recommended daily allowance of vitamin B6 (which helps to regulate your body’s internal clock). Another benefit of baked potatoes is that according to the USDA, a single baked potato contains more than 25% of the daily recommended intake of potassium.
