A pancake fundraiser will be held in order to help Nevaeh Fanney on Saturday, May 14 from 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. It will be held at Captain’s Galley restaurant, 522 Patriot Drive, Dandridge. It cost $5 for a ticket, including two pancakes, two bacon pieces, and a drink. This sweet 7-year-old suffers from an autoimmune hepatitis disease type 2. This disease attacks her liver. Unfortunately, it’s also attacking her other organs, like her heart and kidneys. She needs a liver transplant. They are trying to get her the best care for her disease. The doctor is in California, and Nevaeh has an appointment on June 1. Her mother is an employee at the Captain’s Galley, and she needs all the help she can get to go towards her flight, stay, rental car, and ongoing medical bills. Nevaeh has three other siblings.
