For decades, Ambassadors of Spirit(A.O.S), Women’s Ambassadors of Spirit(W.A.O.S), as well as the Street Teams(Men’s and Women’s) have led the student section of Morristown-West’s sporting events. These groups were started by students and are solely led by Morristown-West students. The administrators and the school have no involvement. These four groups are the front row of the student section of every basketball and football game of the season. For the past years, these groups have decided the themes for both basketball and football games.

Usually there are five Seniors and one Junior within each group. These members are chosen based on the likelihood of attending all games and participating in the dress-up themes. These groups and members are the people who lead and drive the Trojan Train in support of the school’s spirit. Game themes are often decided, planned, and organized during the summer months before school starts. The leader of the Men’s Street Team, Seth Lassiter, shares, “It's inclusive and anybody can show up.”

Dressing up and supporting the Trojan Team as well as the Trojan Train have been a tradition at the ball games for the past decades. These groups show up to every game and support the Trojan athletes and are always eager to show their spirit and support for the Trojan Team. It is truly incredible how these groups have been able to carry the traditions for decades and are completely organized and led by students. Dress-up themes are attached below.
