Morristown West HOSA Shines Internationally

A few students from Morristown West High School were proudly represented in Indianapolis, Indiana at the 50th Anniversary of HOSA International Leadership Conference this past summer in June. Student Joselyn Hernandez competed in the Medical Spelling event. Hernandez participated in educational workshops and explored the HOSA Expo, where she learned about a variety of healthcare careers, colleges, and scholarship opportunities. Even though she did not place in the top five internationally, she returned home with invaluable leadership skills. During the conference, she spent time with HOSA's own 2025–2026 State President and 2026–2027 International HOSA President runner-up, Dayan Guarneros Hernandez, gaining insight into leadership at the highest level. 

Morristown West High School was one of only three Tennessee schools recognized for outstanding blood donation efforts, with one school honored in each category- Bronze, Silver, and Gold. Morristown West proudly received the Silver Award!
