Morristown Introduces New Park Opening Soon

A new park is being built in Morristown! The name of the park will be Jolley Park, and is being built by the Jolley family. They are completely funding the construction of the park. It is being built in honor of Eugene “Gene” Jolley. He was an integral part of the community in Morristown and a talented businessman and entrepreneur who started his way from the ground up and founded his first company in town called Lakeway Container.

The park is being specially designed for special needs children and adults and will meet the needs for all children. However, all children are welcome to play on it.

The park will have a 13,000 square foot playground, a pavilion, shelters and a restroom facility, and a parking lot that can hold up to 38 cars along with a bus stop.

Even in passing, Jolley is able to give back to the community.
