Meet Mr. Greene: West High’s New Guide to Government and the Human Mind

Jacob Greene is a new teacher here at West High. He teaches Government and Psychology. Greene has expressed that, “I didn't always want to be a teacher, as growing through school, I wanted to be a plethora of things, and I made the decision I wanted to be a teacher in high school after some amazing teachers made a difference in my life. “ He explained that he is no longer in college but plans to return after his first full year of being a teacher. Greene became a teacher at Morristown West because he wanted to give back to the place that had invested so much in him.

Greene is currently coaching football at West High. He stated, “I wanted to teach at Morristown West because I wanted to give back to the place that put so much into me and helped me decide even to be a teacher.”  Greene explained that someone he has always looked up to is his dad. He taught him to enjoy the little things in life.  Outside of school he spends time with his wife, family, and friends.
