The performance dates for Footloose: Youth Edition have been pushed back two weeks. Previously supposed to take place May 5 and 6, performance dates have been changed to May 19 and 20. Performances for both days begin at 7:30pm, with tickets being sold at the auditorium doors for $10.
Zackary Fosbenner, who plays Reverend Shaw Moore, claimed that he feels “relieved that we got extra time … I and a few other people have a little more confidence now that we have more time to get things down.” Tania Roque Castro, the backstage manager for the production, added that she feels “relieved that there’s more time to prepare to create an amazing performance.”
The new dates will provide students and their families with an opportunity to relax and laugh shortly before finals arrive on the last week of school, especially seniors who will be leaving their high school career in the past.
