West High's junior, Andee Fitzgerald experienced the chance of a lifetime to participate in FBI Leadership camp in Washington D.C. this summer. Fitzgerald, CTE student, went through a challenging process this past spring but was accepted into a FBI Leadership camp this summer. Assistant principal, Carrie Clowney, nominated Fitzgerald for the dignified program.
Andee had the honor and privilege to be the representative for Tennessee at the FBI National Academy Youth Leadership Program at Quantico. Fitzgerald shares, "I loved every minute of it and learned valuable life long lessons. I made a lot of new friends and a lot of great memories!"
This junior student dreams of being a forensic psychologist for the FBI. She has taken criminal justice for two years at West High and plans to take it all four years. She runs cross country and is active in her youth group at church. Fitzgerald is also president of West's Career Connect club.
At the end of the week Fitzgerald was chosen to be the recipient of the John A. Wagner, Jr Scholarship because of her leadership skills. She expresses, "I am so thankful for the agents and leaders who poured into these 62 students!"
