Mrs. Patrick's introduction to business class traveled to Meadow View Convention Center in Kingsport for students to learn about careers in hospitality.
At the convention center, there were all kinds of games like: Q&A's, quizzes, frisbee throw plus more. The companies there gave out free goods like sunglasses, stickers, pens, post-it notes and bags. The businesses there were Doe River Gorge, Tesla Coil, Hard Rock Hotel and Casino and Doe River Gorge Summer Camps. Employees from different companies presented a fashion show on what to wear and not to wear for career wear. Students learned how to mix ingredients and how to utilize baking skills.
