Brandon Fanney, Former Alabama Football Player, Shares His Thoughts on Tennessee Beating Alabama

Mr. Brandon Fanney is currently a teacher's assistant at Morristown-West. After graduating from Morristown-West, Fanney attended University of Alabama and played as outside lineman for Football from 2005 through 2009. He started for Alabama as an outside lineman and beat Tennessee in Neyland Stadium. Fanney commented, “For that game in 2008, I had to provide at least 50 tickets for my Morristown family.” When Fanney played against the University of Tennessee Vols, his team never lost.

Fanney first started playing football at the age of six and describes that he discovered his passion for Football through his older brother, “[He] was always outside in the yard passing footballs. That's why I learned to love the game.”

Fanney has been a big fan of Alabama Football since the beginning. This Saturday, Oct. 15, 2022, The University of Tennessee beat Alabama’s Football team for the first time in 16 years and Fanney shares his thoughts, “Tennessee outplayed them this year so they deserved it, but I didn’t like it at all.” Fanney also shares, “I love Matte and I love Coach Sal. Coach Sal was actually here when I was in high school. I hope the best for Matte, maybe not the whole program but Matte for sure.”
