More Students Return To In-Person Learning

With COVID-19 cases thinning out, students have began returning to the classroom. Following a new policy from the board of education that went into effect following spring break, the requirements to be virtual have tightened and now require students to have a B average or a medical note to be virtual.

Many students have enjoyed returning to the classroom. Abigail Lamb, Junior, says, “I am glad to be back and I feel more engaged in the lessons. I am also so happy to see my friends”

Dustin Ellis, Junior, says, “I like seeing my friends, and it’s nice to get help from others when I need it.”

A new policy also went into effect Monday, April 12, removing the option for students to use virtual days if they are normally in person. A letter regarding these policies can be found on mhhsw.hcboe.net.
